Springwood Library is currently being upgraded.

The $2.62 million redesign will transform Springwood Library into a modern, light-filled building with full glazing to the south façade, excellent views, plus quiet study areas and a fully accessible lift.

A Springwood Library Click & Collect Service is currently operating from the Blue Mountains Hub Dressing Room 2, at the rear of the building. Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm. This is a collection point for reserved Library items only – please visit the Library Catalogue to place reserves. No vaccination required. Returns can be left in the returns bin to the rear of the building 24/7.

The new Springwood Library will open once construction finishes in 2022.

The project will be funded under the Western Parkland City Liveability Program, which is part of the Western Sydney City Deal (WSCD). The WSCD is a 20 year-agreement between the Australian and NSW governments, and the eight local Councils of the Western Parkland City.
