The Blue Mountains Active Transport Links Program aims to improve our streets, with safe and sustainable links between key destinations and towns across the Blue Mountains

About this project
Council is working to deliver a new pathway on Singles Ridge Road, between Vendetta Road, Winmalee and Yellow Rock Road in Yellow Rock to improve safety and access for walkers and riders. The project is identified as a priority under Council's Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP) and Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2022-2026.

Project status
Construction of this project commenced in September 2026 with works anticipated to continue until March 2027.

Consultation opportunities

Community consultation was carried out in February - March 2025, during the planning and scoping phase of this upgrade program, with the responses received being used to inform the design and future evaluation of the project. Further consultation was carried out for a six week period in December 2025 and January 2026 to coincide with the release of draft designs for the project.

Interested residents are strongly encouraged to 'follow' this project (via the right side of this page) to learn about key milestones.
