Consultation has concluded
The Council-owned car park known as Pioneer Place is centrally located within the retail precinct of Katoomba. Council has prepared a Draft Pioneer Place Stage 2 Public Domain Masterplan. It is on Public Exhibition from 3 June to 1 July, with Submissions received until 15 July.
Stage 2 refers to Upper Pioneer Place (see map in the Survey section). This follows on from the Masterplan process for Lower Pioneer Place, which included the redevelopment of the area containing Woolworths/ Big W, the Post Office and Liquorland.
Council is keen to receive feedback from land holders,business owners, residents and the general community to comment on this plan.
How to make a submission
Submissions need to be clearly marked ‘Draft Pioneer Place Katoomba Stage 2 Public Domain Master Plan – File F00752’, and can be submitted by the following ways:

This is an electronic Submission Form, in which you may provide comment on the Draft Pioneer Place Katoomba Stage 2 Public Domain Master Plan. All Submissions will be reviewed and a summary will be presented to the Council (at a Council meeting) for their consideration.
Please note, only one submission can be made from each person.
