The Blue Mountains Active Transport Links Program aims to improve our streets with safe and sustainable links between key destinations and towns across the Blue Mountains.

About this project
Council is working to design and deliver approximately 350m of pathway extension between no.20 and no.42 Badgery Crescent, Lawson to deliver a continuous connection for walkers travelling between Lawson and Hazelbrook town centres, and improved access for people travelling toward Frederica Falls and Lucy's Glen.

Project status
In February 2025, Council commenced site surveying for the project and notified the community that the design process had commenced. In March 2026 we shared the concept designs, inviting comments to inform the next stage of the project.
