The Blue Mountains Active Transport Links Program aims to improve our streets, with safe and sustainable links between key destinations and towns across the Blue Mountains

About this project
Council is working to design and deliver multiple new pathways in Blackheath, Bullaburra, Glenbrook, Hazelbrook, Leura, Wentworth Falls and Woodford, in areas identified as high priority locations under Council's Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP), and the Blue Mountains Bike Plan 2020.

Project status
Council released initial concept options for the proposed routes in November 2024 and a round of community consultation was undertaken at that time. In December 2025, Council released concept designs for the projects and another round of community consultation was undertaken.
