The purpose of this policy is to describe the standard of dress expected by BMCC (‘Council’) in the workplace. Council requires that all employees wear a standard of dress appropriate to the circumstances and environment in which work is performed. Dress should be neither offensive nor hazardous and should reflect the key principles in Council’s Code of Conduct.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees as well as volunteers, work experience participants, labour hires and contractors who may be engaged by Council from time to time.
