Appreciating the amazing bird life in the Mountains.
There are so many places to see stunning landscapes and endless skies. This image captured at Martins Lookout in Springwood.
This picture is taken at Everglades Gardens, Leura. While the view is stunning, it is hardly unique. Wherever you live in the Blue Mountains, soul-restoring vistas are only moments away. That's what I love about the Blue Mountains. (Continued)
Brunch to celebrate a birthday! Good food, great views and fantastic company! Bliss XOXOX
Chatting in the rain From afar the waterfall seemed to be a silent stream cascading over the rock formations with determined, all weather walkers standing admiring the view and chatting amongst themselves. (Continued)

A friend comes for a visit! So relaxing to watch the bird life that plays in my backyard.
Unlike in Sydney, a house set in a quarter acre block is still affordable in the Blue Mountains. No one living on top of you, and a back yard where children can play and where you can create and enjoy lovely garden. (Continued)
A beautifully still January morning at Glenbrook Lagoon. We are so fortunate to have this tranquil lagoon in our backyard .Its a haven for the community , a sanctuary for the local wildlife and one of the Blue Mountains less known treasures.
Eastern Water Dragon (juvenile) I love the fact that there is such a diverse range of wildlife in the region, including wallabies, birds, spiders, and reptiles.
I love the fact that the bush is just around the corner and that I can share the beautiful mountains with my son.
Connection to country, one of many places where links to our first people are part of the landscape, near Wentworth Falls.
Enjoying seeing the sun set over Glenbrook Lagoon.
Lawson Pool is the heart of our community. Everyone's there in summer enjoying the pool, the trees and wonderful vintage touches like this sign.
Love the Community Spirit A working bee with local residents at the Emma Pde park, which was badly damaged after the 2013 bushfires. Mark Greenhill came to plant a tree. Project organised by the As the Smoke Clears project team.
Nature makes beautiful an old shop window waiting for a new tenant
