NAIDOC Week 2018

NAIDOC Week 2018

  • We would like to acknowledge that the City of Blue Mountains is located in the Country of the Darug and Gundungurra peoples. We recognise that Darug and Gundungurra traditional owners have a continuous and deep connection to their country and that this is of great cultural significance to Aboriginal people, both locally and in the region.

We pay respect to Elders past and present while recognising the strength, capacity and resilience of past and present Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Blue Mountains region.

Blue Mountains City Council is doing a study that looks at the role of grandparents, elders and older people in our community and the contribution that they make to our families.

We would love to hear from you. If you have a spare few minutes, we would greatly appreciate your contribution to this study. If you have any questions about this survey or the wider study, please speak with Rhiannon Walker or Colin Berryman who are distributing the surveys.

The information gathered is confidential. If you would like to see the results of this study, please write your name on the separate contact sheet provided and we will send it to you.

Thank you for taking the time to fill in this survey. This survey is about what elders, grandparents and older members of our community can teach all of us
