Where did this proposal come from?

In 2011, the Council resolved to undertake prelimary assesment of the viability of creating a link road from Hawkesbury Road Springwood, via Lawson Road, to Peninsula Road Valley Heights. This was resolved with the view to alleviating traffic congestion often experienced on Hawkesbury Road and Macquarie Road intersections during peak traffic periods.
