Consultation has concluded
Council is developing a cowork space at the site of the old library in the Katoomba Civic Centre. We’d like you to help us shape the future of this project, to ensure the operation and fit-out of the space align with our community’s needs.
You can do this by taking part in our short survey here, sharing your ideas and letting us know what’s most important to you, whether it be training rooms, networking events, digital production facilities or meeting room capacity.
The cowork space is part of a broader project to revitalise the entire precinct, improving security, as well as softening the space with landscaping, re-painting the red canopies, and the installation of artworks by local artists.
The project is funded with a $750k grant from the Building Better Regions Fund, with Council matching this funding, to a total investment of $1.5m.
