The Blue Mountains Active Transport Links program aims to improve our streets, with safe and sustainable links between key destinations and towns across the Blue Mountains.
About this project
Council is working on plans for a new 2.8 km active transport link on Hat Hill Road and Wentworth Street in Blackheath to improve safety and access for residents and visitors.
Project status
Council began community notification in early 2025 as planning and design commenced. On-site surveying started in February 2025.
In April 2026, Council released the concept options and invited community feedback to help inform the design process.
Concept option feedback now open
