We are celebrating 25 years of Sustainable Blue Mountains and visioning for the next 25 years to 2050.

We want to learn what you believe are the greatest achievements in the Blue Mountains, what you value most about our city, and what you believe is most important now for securing a successful tomorrow for everyone.

Your input will help shape the future of the Blue Mountains to 2050.

Eligible entries will be entered into a prize draw to win one of several $50 vouchers of your choice from:

  • Blue Mountains Theatre, Springwood
  • Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Cafe and Gift Shop, Katoomba
  • Any of the Blue Mountains Leisure and Aquatic Centres (Blackheath, Katoomba, Lawson, Springwood & Glenbrook)

    All eligible entries will be entered into the prize draw to win one of four $50 vouchers of your choice from:

    • Blue Mountains Theatre, Springwood

    • Any of the Blue Mountains Leisure and Aquatic Centres (Blackheath, Katoomba, Lawson, Springwood & Glenbrook)

    There will be two prizes awarded for participants aged under 18 years, and two prizes awarded for participants aged over 18 years.

    Instructions


    Sharing a story with your phone's Voice Memo app

    1. Locate the Voice Memo app: Navigate to your phone's "Voice Memo" or a similar named app. If you don't have one installed, search for a voice memo app in your app store.

    2. Start a new recording: Record your response to the prompts listed above.

      • Find a quiet place to minimise background noise. 
      • Tap on the "New" or "+" button, usually located at the bottom or top right of the screen.
      • Wait for the recording interface to appear.

    3. Share your Story: Once ready, speak clearly into the phone's microphone. Once you've finished, tap the "Stop" or "End" button.

    4. Save & Name Your Story:

      • If prompted, choose to save your recording.
      • Give it a descriptive name so you can easily find it later.
      • Listen back to your recording to ensure you are happy with it.

    5. Share or Send:

      • Find the "Share" icon and select 'mail' and enter the email address mediaunit@bmcc.nsw.gov.au
      • Remember to include your name, age, suburb and a contact number. 
      • Alternatively, you can save the file and submit your entry using the form below.
