Upcoming night work at the intersection of Govetts Leap Road and Wentworth Street and Sutton Lane Carpark

As part of the Blackheath Village Centre upgrade works, some night works have been scheduled to take place on:

Time: 6pm Thursday, 20 June 2024 to 5am Friday, 21 June 2024.

Locations:

• The footpath on all corners of the intersection of Govetts Leap Road and Wentworth Street.
• The intersection of Wentworth Street and Sutton Lane.
• Sutton Lane Carpark (South side of Sutton Lane). Sutton Lane Carpark will be temporarily closed from 6pm on Thursday, 20 June 2024 to allow the work to be undertaken safely.

Traffic controls will be in place at both intersections to help minimise disruption for the community. Govetts Leap Road, Wentworth Street, and Sutton Lane are expected to remain open for the duration of the work.

Some noise and vibration will occur during the construction work. However, active efforts will be made to eliminate and mitigate noise and vibration where possible.
