The final designs for the new toilet block and accessible path are complete!
In keeping with the newly adopted Masterplan, these designs reflect the heritage of the park while delivering modern amenities to one of our four district parks. The main path from the ANZAC gates will be upgraded to Australian standards for accessibility, making it safe and easy to use for everyone.
This upgrade has been made possible thanks to funding from the *City Deal Liveability Program and construction is expected to commence in 2021.
*Stage one of this project will be funded under the Western Parkland City Liveability Program, which is part of the Western Sydney City Deal (WSCD). The WSCD is a 20 year-agreement between Australian and NSW governments, and the eight local Councils of the Western Parkland City.
The Masterplan has been adopted!
The Masterplan for the park was adopted by Council in August 2020 after extensive community consultation over the last two years. The local community has thorough knowledge of the park’s history and has given much time and effort to get this essential document right.
