Consultation has concluded
Council has received a Planning Proposal for 4 Merriwa Street, Katoomba to include an additional land use on the site through the use of Schedule 1 to LEP 2015. This Planning Proposal is known as Draft Amendment 9 to LEP 2015.
The proposed land use to be included on 4 Merriwa Street, Katoomba is that of ‘Registered Club’ which is defined in LEP 2015 as meaning “a club that holds a club licence under the Liquor Act 2007.”
The Planning Proposal was presented to the 19 September 2017 Council meeting where it was endorsed to send to the Greater Sydney Commission to seek a Gateway Determination.
A Gateway Determination was subsequently received by Council for the Planning Proposal on 19 October 2017.
The draft Planning Proposal and associated documents are available for download in the Document Library.
As required by the Gateway Determination, Draft Amendment 9 to LEP 2015 will be on public exhibition for 14 days from 1 to 15 November 2017.
