Naming of Great Western Highway Pedestrian Over Bridge – WOODFORD
Council is calling for submissions for the naming of the pedestrian overbridge at Woodford railway station.
All submission should consider the following criteria:
- Demonstrated excellence, courage or exceptional service to the citizens of the City of the Blue Mountains, the State of New South Wales or the Australian Nation,
- Provided extensive community service,
- Worked to foster equality and reduce discrimination,
- Risked his/her life to save others,
- Made a significant financial or non-financial contribution to a park or facility, Made an outstanding contribution to the City of Blue Mountains outside of his or her capacity as an employee or former employee of Council,
- No longer living, or
- Retired from public life, or
- Towards the end of their career in public life.
Submissions close 12 June 2017.
