Sinclair Crescent temporary pedestrian crossing installed

Installation of a temporary, at grade crossing on Sinclair Crescent (Wentworth Falls) to improve pedestrian safety over the busy summer period has been completed.

The work involved:

• Construction of a concrete kerb ramp near the amenities block
• Excavation of postholes
• Installation of speed cushions and signage
• Pedestrian crossing line marking

The temporary pedestrian crossing will link the current gravel carpark on Sinclair Crescent to the southern end of the lake near the amenities building, as shown in the picture overleaf. The crossing is temporary and will be upgraded as part of the wider carpark upgrade works anticipated to start in mid-January 2025.
