The Local Government Act 1993 requires a Council to adjust its ward boundaries where the difference between electors in wards is greater than 10 per cent.

This report outlines the review undertaken and the suggested adjustment for Council’s consideration and seeks endorsement to place the proposed adjustment on public exhibition for community comment.

All NSW councils have received instructions from the Electoral Commission of NSW that they
a required to commence the review process in relation to Ward Boundaries within their Local
Government Areas prior to the September 2016 Local Government election.
