Naming of Pedestrian Bridge – Valley Heights

Council is inviting submissions from the community for a commemorative name for the Pedestrian Bridge over the Great Western Highway at Valley Heights.

A commemorative name is for a person or group of persons and the criteria which will be taken into account will include whether the Individual or Group has/is:

  1. Made a significant contribution to the local area, City of Blue Mountains, State of New South Wales or the Nation of Australia;
  2. Achieved excellence in a particular field or endeavour of local, state or national significance (E.g. Sport, Science, Health, Education, Arts etc.) ;
  3. Provided extensive community service; and
  4. No longer living.

Submissions may be made in the following ways:

  • online with the e-form/survey below,
  • by e-mail to Council@bmcc.nsw.gov.au
  • or written submissions should be posted to InfrastructurePlanning Branch, PO Box 1005, Katoomba NSW 2780.
