Blue Mountains City Council wants to provide accessible public toilets to assist the frail aged and people with a disability and visitors alike, with dignified and equitable access in our towns.
Obvius Access have been commissioned by Council to undertake an assessment of existing public toilets to identify the various barriers that prevent the frail aged and people with a disability from accessing these facilities.
Obvius Access is keen to hear from you about any specific barriers for you in accessing these facilities.
The consultants will focus on facilities that are in or near to major town centre precincts, and identify 10 sites for priority upgrading, being those where the most benefit in improving accessibility can be achieved.
The results of this survey will help inform Councils Disability Inclusion Action Plan, Ageing Strategic Plan and the Community Facilities Strategic Plan.
