It is a requirement of the Local Government Act 1993 that we undertake a review of our organisational structure within 12 months of a newly elected council. Our currentstructure has been in place since 1 July 2022 so it is timely we do a review.
We are inviting staff to provide feedback on the Draft Proposed Senior Level Organisation Structure (high level structure) released to staff in an email from the CEO on 20 August 2024. The proposed structure is in the BMCC Staff Bulletin dated 20 August 2025.
Staff feedback is being sought on the high-level structure prior to it being finalised and presented to the elected Council on 30 September 2025.
Staff submissions previously provided from April to May 2025 have been reviewed by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and considered as part of the development of this high-level structure. Submissions via Have Your Say and the printable survey/feedback form (see 'printable survey' attachment in this Have Your Say) are also being considered as we shape the more detailed placement of all staff within the overall structure once Council signs off on the high-level structure.
Please provide your feedback below OR download, print and deliver a hard copy of the survey (attachment is in this Have Your Say) via internal mail addressed to the CEO Rosemary Dillion (marked 'Confidential') by 12 midday - Wednesday 27 August 2025.
