The Records Management Policy developed in the context of Council’s requirements, and in reference to guidelines and directions prepared by State Records NSW and other agencies. The Records Management Policy provides direction to Council on how to achieve records management compliance. Please refer to these supporting procedures for more detail on specific implementation of this policy, for example:

• Security and Access to Council Records Procedure
• Naming Conventions for Council Records Procedure
• Electronic File Creation Procedure
