Staff consultation: Draft Capitalisation and Disposal Policy & Procedure

The following BMCC policy and procedure are currently under review by Strategy and Corporate Services:

The above policy was last adopted in 2019, whereas this will be the first adoption of the procedure.

Effective asset capitalisation and disposal are critical in maintaining accurate financial records allowing BMCC leadership to make confident asset based decisions and, providing clear information to the community. The purpose of the policy and procedure is to provide clear guidance to council staff on what circumstances require the policy and procedure to be followed, why they are important and how to enact them.
