Will there be a shade sail over the play equipment?
There are a number of trees in the park which already provide shade for the play space, so shade sails will not be included in this upgrade.
Will there be any changes to the nearby sporting facilities (basketball courts and oval)?
The upgrade will have no impact on the nearby sporting facilities.
Is any junior equipment being removed?
The existing junior equipment is old and requires replacing. It is being replaced with new equipment suitable for all levels of ability.
When will the toilet block construction be finalised?
The toilet block is expected to be completed by 26 November 2021.
When will the construction start on the new play space?
This is a two-phased project, which includes a new accessible toilet block and play space upgrade. Construction on the play space will begin after the toilet block is complete.
