Proposed Road Renaming: Reid Circle Winmalee

Council will be consulting with residents of Reid Circle, Winmalee in regards to a proposed renaming of this street.

It has been brought to Council’s attention that the road name Reid Circle at Winmalee is causing problems to residents in the street, due to conflicting naming of adjoining Reid Road.

An application has been received seeking to rename Reid Circle, to alleviate confusion and promote efficient way finding.

Once Council has received feedback from immediate residents in the street, then further consultation may occur with the wider community. Council will consider all comments before making a decision to proceed with the road naming process. Any new road name will need to comply with the guidelines of the NSW Geographical Names Board.
