About this project

Council is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from local artists to deliver public art installations as part of town centre upgrade programs in Blaxland and Hazelbrook.

Council invites local artists to submit proposals that explore creative connections between place, people and culture.

Three separate opportunities have been identified in each of the town centres as part of the upgrade program, with artists able to express interest in one or multiple opportunities, which include public murals, sculptural and lighting installations.


How to participate

  1. Download the information packages for these projects for further information:
  2. Local artists can express interest in one or multiple opportunities at the expression of interest stage, by providing a single PDF that includes:
    • a short, written or verbal (via link to a recorded video) response to each of the individual sites you are responding to;
    • a biography of up to 250 words (for applications featuring multiple artists, please include bio on each artist);
    • and a portfolio of relevant past works up to three A4 pages in length, with up to six images;
    • an Artist CV (optional), please limit to a maximum of two pages.
