This consultation has concluded.
On 7 February 2018 ELT committed to a consultation period to consider a proposal to introduce a 9-day fortnight and standard working hours into Blue Mountains City Council.
The proposal includes the introduction of:
9-day fortnight; and/or
Harmonised ordinary hours of work to 35hpw;
Implementation requirements to improve work production, quality and value; and
KPIs to measure effectiveness
Consultation is for a 4-week period formally commencing from Monday 19 February 2018 and will finish on Friday 17 March 2018.
You will have the opportunity to comment on the following options:
Option 1
Introduction of 9 day fortnight
No change to ordinary hours of work each week
Option 2
No change to current 3 week RDO cycle
Introduction of 35 hours per week ordinary working hours for all employees
Option 3
Introduction of 9 day fortnight
Introduction of 35 hours per week ordinary working hours for all employees
