Help shape the future of bus parking in Leura Village
Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for the Leura Village Bus Parking Layout Stakeholder Engagement Group, inviting community members to help shape a practical, long-term solution for managing visitor buses in the village.
After extensive community and industry consultation in 2025, Council endorsed a Visitor Bus Management Plan in February, setting out a clear framework to reduce the impacts of buses on environmentally sensitive and residential areas, while supporting sustainable tourism to key destinations across the Blue Mountains.
Council is now seeking targeted community input to refine the proposed bus parking layout and arrangements for Leura Village, one of the region’s most visited and valued local centres.
The Stakeholder Engagement Group will meet up to three times over the coming months to review options and provide feedback to inform the final plan. Meeting dates and locations will be confirmed with participants.
To register an EOI please read the Terms of Reference document and complete the form below by Friday 22 May 2026.
