Consultation has concluded
We are seeking input from the local community, businesses, the tourism, creative and performance sectors, to help us plan for the renewal and activation of the Katoomba Civic Centre space. We want to hear your thoughts and ideas on how we can create a vibrant place. You can be involved by signing up for the workshop or popping in to our drop in session.
The Katoomba Civic Centre Arcade (KCCA) was built in 1970’s and underwent a renovation some 10 years ago. It is a Council owned precinct which is split across two levels and offers both community space and commercial tenancies (x13) – it also consists of an open central area on the upper level which has seating. The precinct is considered a link to the Coles complex and Council’s BM Cultural Centre / Library from Katoomba Street. The lower level also provides access to College Lane (which runs between KCCA and the Coles complex).
