Thank you for your interest this consultation has concluded.

The Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub has been operational for 2 years and during this time extensive information has been gathered on the facility’s functionality, user groups, audiences, capacity and effectiveness of operating systems.

The facility’s rates and charges have recently been reviewed. This is in line with the motion of the Ordinary Council meeting of April 2016 whereby it was moved that a review of rates and charges at the Hub be undertaken in January 2017 and a report provided to the Council.

The Hub has quickly established itself as the premier theatre venue in the Blue Mountains, attracting renowned national and international performers alongside local talent.

The Hub is dedicated to supporting NFP organisations, local performers and performance groups, while at the same time operating with an entrepreneurial mindset, reducing Council’s subsidy of operations.

The proposed new fee structure strikes a balance between ensuring the facility remains accessible for Community use and is reflective of the extensive equipment and service levels provided to user groups.

The draft document is available to view and download on the right hand side of this page.
