Hazelbrook Village Centre: Upper Carpark

At the Council meeting of the 14 July 2014, and after significant community engagement including a final exhibition, the Council adopted the Hazelbrook Masterplan.

Council is continuing to implement the Masterplan recommendations in relation to the upper shopping centre carpark. The detailed designs for the carpark were on exhibition from the 4 December 2017 until the 15 January 2018. A copy of this concept plan can be found in the Document Library on this page.

The carpark designs have been developed to address the following:

  1. RMS standards to comply with the declared “Shared Zone”;
  2. Council resolution to provide footpath barriers to prevent cars mounting the footpath accidentally;
  3. Current Australian Standards for carparks; and
  4. Improvements to function and amenity as identified in the Masterplan.

Information Sessions

As part of the ongoing development of this project, Council has just completed two open information sessions on the implementation of the full designs for the upgrades.
