About this project
The Glenbrook Village Upgrade will deliver improved safety and accessibility for the community and visitors, and proposes new community and cultural infrastructure, and public domain improvements throughout the village centre.
Proposed works include:
Paving and footpath upgrades for pedestrian safety
Improved crossings and street lighting
Improved carparking
Street tree planting, landscaping and storm water harvesting
New bicycle parking and water re-fill station
Public art and treatments for cultural and heritage interpretation
Improved street banner system
Improved navigational signage
Improved seating
Project status
Council is undertaking project scoping, including initial topographic surveying and concept designs.
Council carried out consultation with the community in February-March 2025, including an information stall in the town centre to discuss the proposed project scope with the community.
Interested community members are encouraged to follow this project (via the right side of this page) to learn about key milestones and any future consultation opportunities.
The project is proudly funded by the NSW Government.
