About the Heavy Vehicle Plant Management Policy

The Heavy Vehicle and Plant Fleet is retained and used to support a number of Council’s Services and must be used lawfully, effectively and efficiently in performing official duties. The purpose of the Fleet is to provide vehicles and equipment to support Council’s business outcomes. Business and operational requirements of Council determine the composition of the Fleet including heavy vehicle and plant acquisition, management and disposal.
