Blue Mountains City Council would like to connect with the local First Nations community who have an interest in the creative space.
As part of Reconciliation Week (27 May-3 June) and on the anniversary of the endorsement of the Statement of Recognition and Commitment, Council started a series of events for First Nations Creatives.
These events will be a chance for artists to connect with each other, and Council, and yarn about how they would like to see First Nations artists represented and celebrated, particularly in Council-managed locations that hold space for creativity.

The First Nations Creatives Survey is being run to better understand the experiences, needs, and aspirations of First Nations creatives in the Blue Mountains.
The feedback will help guide future creative opportunities, programs, and ways of working that are respectful, inclusive, and led by community priorities.
By sharing your views, you are helping inform how Council and partners can better support First Nations creatives, strengthen cultural visibility, and create meaningful opportunities now and into the future.
