The exhibition period for this has been extended due to a technical error with the submission form.
The Event Strategic Plan is informed by Council’s Community Strategic Plan, and recognises the contribution which events make to the city, and the significant challenges faced by event organisers in delivering safe, successful and sustainable events.
The Events Strategic Plan 2020-2025 lays out Council’s intended engagement with Event Organisers, and articulates an Implementation Plan to streamline processes and to build capacity for events to increase the yield and quality of events for the Blue Mountains community and its visitors.
Submissions close Wednesday 27 May, 2020.
Council is particularly interested to hear from event organisers. Especially on the Actions in the Implementation Plan on pages 14-17.
