Consultation has concluded
In accordance with section 252(1) of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW) (‘the Act’), Council must adopt a policy concerning the payment of expenses incurred or to be incurred by, and the provision of facilities to the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and the other Councillors in relation to discharging their functions of civic office, within 12 months of each new term of Council.
In compliance with this, Council has reviewed and updated the existing Councillor Facilities, Expenses & Professional Development Policy. The Council has prepared the draft Facilities, Expenses & Professional Development Policy for public consultation.
