Blue Mountains City Council is proposing to amend Blue Mountains Development Control Plan 2015 (DCP 2015) which came into effect on 15 February 2015.
The purpose of Draft Amendment 3 to DCP 2015 is to make minor housekeeping changes to the DCP, consistent with the proposed removal of the existing Period Housing provisions from Council's Local Environmental Plan 2015 (LEP 2015), and to incorporate reference to the proposed 17 new heritage conservation areas (HCAs) into Council's planning controls.
Draft Amendment 3 to DCP 2015 will be on public exhibition during the period commencing 14 November 2018 and ending on 12 December 2018. This draft amendment to DCP 2015 is advertised in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000.
Printed copies of Draft Amendment 3 to DCP 2015 are available at Council's Springwood and Katoomba Council offices, and at Blaxland, Springwood and Katoomba libraries. Council's Planners are also available to answer questions in person at Council's Katoomba office (9am - 5pm Monday to Friday), or by calling - Lower Mountains or Upper Mountains - 4780 5000. An email can also be sent to council@bmcc.nsw.gov.au with any questions, quoting 'DCP Amendment 3' in the subject line.
Submissions must be received by close of business on 5 December 2018.
