Consultation has concluded
Council is currently conducting a periodic review of its Councillor Facilities and Expenses Policy. The draft Code will be exhibited for 28 days from 29 June 2017 to 27 July 2017, with comments accepted for 42 days up to 10 August 2017. You can view the draft policy by clicking on the download available on the right hand side of this page.
We would like to encourage residents to consider the draft and make relevant submissions. The present draft is designed to be a more streamlined reference tool, particularly for Councillors and members of the public. Key legislation underpinning this policy is the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW) and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005 (NSW).
