Update 15 December 2022: Pine trees to be removed at Jackson Park

The central pine tree (pinus radiata) in Jackson Park will soon be removed, along with the pine tree in front of the old toilet block location.

The central pine is required to be removed so that the swing set can be relocated closer to the existing play equipment and play area. The swing set must be relocated to permit the construction of a DDA compliant path to the new accessible toilet from the Corridor of Oaks (north side). The pine in front of the toilet block is required to be removed to make way for the new accessible path and new accessible toilet block.
