Community and Cultural Facilities Strategic Plan - Update 2022

The Blue Mountains City Council is developing a ‘Community and Cultural Facilities Strategic Plan’ to help guide Council’s management, maintenance and future investment in community buildings to meet the needs of our community and support service delivery as effectively as possible. Work on this plan has been delayed but Council is now resuming the development of this plan.

Council consulted community building tenants between 2015 and 2017 about how well the buildings met the needs of tenants and their clients. We would like to build on this consultation with a follow up survey to see how your service has changed, particularly since Covid, and whether your service needs are still being met by the buildings.

The survey will take a few minutes.

Community Service Provider - Survey

The Blue Mountains City Council is developing a ‘Community and Cultural Facilities Strategy’ to guide Council’s management, maintenance and future investment in community buildings to meet the needs of our community and support service delivery as effectively as possible.

Council has created this community service tenants survey to begin the process of understanding the nature of your community service provision and how your service will change and evolve. We will also be asking you questions about the building, and propose to inspect each community building to assess how well they support the activities being undertaken within them.

As follows is the link to the survey, which will take around 10 minutes.

If you require any further information regarding this survey or the strategy, please do not hesitate to contact Council's Community & Facilities Planner - Janne Yardy on 4780 5448
