FAQ
What is a Community Strategic Plan?
The Community Strategic Plan sits above all other Council plans and strategies. It is the Council’s highest level plan, prepared on behalf of and in consultation with the community.
It identifies
the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future, and sets out
strategies for achieving these goals.
Why is the Community Strategic Plan being reviewed?
It is a requirement under the Local Government Act 1993 (s402) that every 4 years, following a Council election, Council must review the Community Strategic Plan. Any changes to the Community Strategic Plan must be endorsed by the Council by 30 June 2022.
Why should I get involved?
This Community Strategic Plan will help guide the direction for the Blue Mountains over the next 10+ years. If you live or work in the Blue Mountains, this is your future we are talking about. Who better to tell us about what's important for the future of the Blue Mountains than you?
