What does Public Exhibition mean?
Public exhibition is the official period during which draft documents are made available for consultation and feedback. The community and key stakeholders are encouraged to provide feedback to Council, usually in the form of a written submission.
Why is this document important?
The goal of net zero refers to reaching an equal balance between the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere and the amount that is absorbed. This is a critical goal for reducing the future impacts of climate change.
This document sets out a vision, targets and actions for the City of the Blue Mountains to transition to a low emissions community.
