Community Area Workshops provide input into long-term Community Strategic Plan

In May 2024, Blue Mountains City Council hosted two community area workshops to provide input into its long-term Community Strategic Plan. Hosted by Council, in collaboration with Taverner Research, workshops were held in Springwood (29 May) and Katoomba (30 May), with a total of 93 participants. Participants were given the opportunity to discuss the 6 Key Directions underpinning Council's current Community Strategic Plan, and provide input on how what they felt was most important, and any aspects they felt had been overlooked or left out. Participants were also invited to rank a list of priorities for the future of the Blue Mountains, and add anything they felt was missing.
