Thank you for your interest this consultation has concluded.

Council has reviewed Alcohol Free Zones (AFZ) across the City and is now seeking your feedback.

The principal objective of an AFZ is to prevent disorderly behaviour caused by the consumption of alcohol in public areas in order to improve public safety. AFZs are established by local Council and enforced by NSW Police and form part of a larger Community lead program to reduce incidents of irresponsible alcohol consumption.

Maps of the proposed AFZs and background information is available to view in the Document Library.
