Other Liveability Projects - Glenbrook

Glenbrook Park is one of four district parks and work has commenced on stage 2 of the Glenbrook Park play space. It will connect to the existing junior play area and complete this play space for primary school aged children.

Extensive community consultation was undertaken across 2019, to ensure that the final designs, reflected the needs of our community. This included using an interactive online tool called the funbobulator, it allowed users to choose the types of playground equipment they liked the most.

Included in the design are the top 3 pieces of equipment selected from over 600 respondents catering for 7 to 12 year olds. Featured in stage 2 will be a flying fox, climbing tower, slide, swings and trampolines.

The upgrade will also provide inclusive play types and experiences for children with additional needs.
