The Blue Mountains Active Transport Links Program aims to improve our streets for everyone, with safe and sustainable links between key destinations and towns across the Blue Mountains.

About this project

Council has secured NSW Government funding to undertake detailed design of a new 1.8km active transport link, comprising a 1.1km off-road shared path and a 700m quiet way, between Linden and Faulconbridge.

It is important to stress that this funding is for design only. Construction is not currently funded and would require separate grant funding.

The design phase allows Council to investigate options, undertake technical studies and refine potential routes and treatments.
Community feedback during the design phase will help shape the final design.

The project aligns with Council’s long-term vision for a safer, more connected active transport network.
