Improve walkability by building more footpaths and safer pedestrian connections
Many streets in the Blue Mountains still don't have footpaths. This is a major deterrent for many people in walking to/from places. Although this is a massive undertaking, efforts should be made by Council to gradually build more footpaths and establish safer pedestrian connections. This would improve walkability and encourage people to leave their car at home.

This would include a Council owned and run grid of electric vehicle charging stations throughout the LGA

A cycleway along the railway would be a drawcard for tourists and provide an excellent service for residents.
