Consultation has concluded

Blue Mountains City Council is committed to equitable opportunity and the elimination of discrimination against people based upon their gender. The Gender Equity Strategy has been prepared to guide Council’s actions towards these goals, including Council’s support for the wider Blue Mountains community to promote and implement gender equity initiatives and support women, men and people of non-binary gender to feel safe, to be acknowledged and to enjoy equal opportunity. Council encourages all Blue Mountains residents to comment upon the Strategy in the interests of ensuring it is effective and has the broad support from our diverse community.
